course covers the competencies necessary to provide First Aid response,
life support, management of casualties, the incident and other first
aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. |

First Aid is the advised minimum requirement by Workplace Health
& Safety
Legislation for the workplace First Aider. |

| |

| Successful
participants receive a Statement of Attainment which is valid for three
years. The course also covers the content of units: |
- HLTCPR201A Perform CPR (this must be completed every 12 months)
- HLTFA201A Provide basic emergency life support
|
|
| There
are no pre-requisites for the course. Participants must be 14 years or
older. |
